This past fall, a new trail has been added to the list. The Capital to Tahoe Trail creates a unique opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to connect Carson City, NV and also with Lake Tahoe.
Not only for mountain bikers, this multi-use trail allows hikers, backpackers, and also equestrians to make the connection from Carson City to Lake Tahoe and far beyond. Moreover, the Capital to Tahoe Trail will connect to the Tahoe Rim Trail and will also allow the connection to the world renown Pacific Crest Trail.
If one is up for the adventure, this new trail would give access to a full off-road connection from the capitol building in Carson City, NV all the way to British Columbia, Canada through an extensive network of trail systems.
This new trail adds to the ever growing list of trail systems in the area and should serve to bring visitors new challenges and also help to boost a section of the economy becoming more important to Nevada.
